Dil Raju buys Gopala Gopala

Popular producer Dil Raju has bought the distribution rights of Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer 'Gopala Gopala' movie for Nizam region. According to the sources, Raju has bought the movie rights for Rs 13.4 crores, which is quite high when compared to the previous films of Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan. 'Gopala Gopala' will light the screens for Sankranthi season and expectations are high.

AirAsia Flight Has Crashed

AirAsia Flight Has Crashed?

The AirAsia flight QZ8501 which went missing with 162 passengers on board, is yet to be identified while the Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency chief said, the plane could have crashed in the sea.  The search for the plane resumed on Monday morning while Singapore has stepped in for the rescue operations. The search focus is on northeast of Indonesia's Bangka island, which lies roughly halfway between Surabaya and Singapore, in the Java Sea.

This is the second incident of the year where a plane went missing. Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 went missing on March 8 and still not even a single evidence of the plane was found. About 24 countries have joined the rescue operations and on July17, the same airlines flight MH17 was shot down by Ukraine for flying over their region which killed 298 people.

This is horrible year for Malaysian based airlines as they were constantly hit by missing issues. The Indonesia's AirAsia flight disappeared on Sunday after its pilot failed to get permission to alter course to avoid bad weather.

For this Balayya took the help of social networking site Facebook and asked what title would best suit his next film. Along with a snap from the upcoming movie, Balayya gave three options to fans and they are Lion, Godsey and Warrior.

All the three titles were making round in tinsel town for quite sometime now and it is upto the fans to decide. However, Balakrishna fans wish to see him as a fighter and so 'Warrior' could be more preferred while 'Lion' title can't be ruled out.

This is rare experiment by Balakrishna who is not much into social life.

“Good morning my dear friends, without anymore delay! On this lovely morning I would like announce that my debut film is on the go. With non other than V.V.VINAYAK ! Just got done with a small informal Pooja with close family and friends. Sorry for the long delay guys. Wishing my darling producer @actor_nithiin and Sudhakar Reddy Garu all the very best, I'm so happy to be working with such amazing people!,” wrote Akhil.

The rest of the cast and crew details will be out shortly. This film is expected to hit screens for the 2015 Summer. All the Best!

 Mahesh Babu is currently working with director Koratala Siva and the shooting is progressing in Ramoji Film city where scenes on Mahesh, Shruti Haasan and Rajendra Prasad are being canned. Though many rumoured titles hit the headlines, the makers of the film did not confirm any and restrained from commenting. According to the sources, the makers seems to have zeroed upon a title and also registered the title at film chamber very recently.

The title is 'Srimanthudu' and we know it is an old title of late legendary actor ANR's film. But these days it is common of using old films titles for new flicks. The sources also reveal that the title perfectly fits the script and after a small discussion, the makers have affirmed it. However, the producers of the film want to take their own time to reveal the title.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for this action entertainer.

Shiv Sena is coming with a film on its founder, late Bal Thackeray however, the party is silent over this and still not sure whether it is a biopic mainstream film or a short film. When repeated attempts were made to comment on this, Shiv Sena MP and Editor of Sena's mouthpiece Sanjay Raut told the PTI that, they are making a film on Bal Thackeray.

Uddhav Thackeray's son Aditya is known to behind this project and the pictures of the film are creating abuzz in the social media. However, few sources say that it is a short film and is directed by a noted director who has enough experience in Marathi and Hindi films. As per the sources, the film will release on January 23rd which also marks the birthday of Bal Thackeray.

In fact it was the demand of Shiv Sena supporters and well-wishers to come up with a film on the late leader. Bal Thackeray breathed his last in November 2012.

Delhi beauty Rakul Preet Singh is heading towards the top slot in Tollywood as she is in a signing spree. With already bunch of films under her belt, yet another role is likely to fall on Rakul's doorsteps and this time, she might pair with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. 'Kick 2' was launched recently however, the cast of the film has not been announced on the formal launch day.

The makers who are busy with pre-production work, have zeroed upon Rakul Preet's name for the heroine role and are yet to approach her. Currently Rakul is working on 'Loukyam' with Gopichand, 'Current Theega' with Manchu Manoj, 'Pandaga Chesuko' with Ram and 'Rough' with Aadi. However, first two films are gearing up for release, Rakul can adjust dates for Kick 2, if she accepts.

Interestingly, all the film are out and out commercial films and if they turn into hits, Rakul Preet will become the top actress.

Director Gunasekhar is all over the headlines for the past couple of days as the shooting of his most ambitious project 'Rudhramadevi' film has come to end. The film is India's first historical stereoscopic 3D film and Gunasekhar has put his heart and soul on Rudhramadevi to make it a celluloid wonder.

But we have an interesting news about director Gunasekhar and it is, the maker did a 6 months crash course in the very popular London Film Institute to learn about the new-age 3D format before the launch of Rudhramdevi. The duration of the course is 18 month but impressed by his direction skills and given the amount of experience, the London Film Institute accepted to offer certificate to Gunasekhar in just 6 months. So we can say, Gunasekhar is an authorized filmmaker to make stereoscopic 3D films.

Well, that's what you call 'passion' and dedication towards your profession. Kudos Gunasekhar!!!

A song from Rocking star Manchu Manoj's upcoming movie 'Current Theega' was revealed by the maker. The song is said to be a break up song and was crooned by none other than Manoj himself. Before the video begins, the Potugadu thanked all the girls who have inspired him to sing this particular song.

The video also shows director of the film G Nageswara Reddy explaining the situation and music director Achu composes the song. As Achu is doing with tune, Manoj goes for recording of the song. Current Theega will be lighting the screens on October 2nd.

The film has Rakul Preet Singh in the main female lead role while bombshell Sunny Leone will be seen in a special role.

Director Shankar's 'Ai' [Manoharudu in Telugu] movie is gearing up for audio release on September 15th and the makers are making heavy preparations as Hollywood star actor Arnold will grace the event as chief guest. While the audio release program is around, the makers are also busy with the Telugu distribution rights.

Since a week, the Telugu rights are kept under hold as the makers of Ai movie are expecting a huge amount. According to the sources the makers are quoting not less than Rupees 35 crores for the Telugu rights but many producers are not keen to put such huge amount. The noted production house PVP Cinema is willing to buy the Telugu rights but is in a wait and watch mode, looking for the producers of Ai movie to come down a bit.

Recently the Tamil satellite rights of Ai are were sold out for Rs 22 crores, this led the makers to quote such a whopping amount for the Telugu rights. Ai movie is made with a budget of whopping Rs 185 crores and so the makers are making sure they gather the maximum revenue well before release. This is a good tactic and it will be more advantage, if the film scores a super hit at box office.

The shooting of this untitled film will begin from third week of September and the makers are aiming for a 2015 Summer release.  Kannada actor Upendra and versatile actor Rajendra Prasad are also expected to be part of the film but there is no confirmation about other vital characters.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music and the yet to be titled film is the second combination of Allu Arjun and Trivikram after successful Julayi.

Rudhramadevi Wraps Shooting

Innovative director Gunasekhar's ambitious upcoming film 'Rudhramadevi' has completed its shooting and busy with post-production work. On this occasion the makers have released a press statement signifying the shooting experience of the film.

Director Gunasekhar said, “the thought of Rudhramadevi film popped up in the year 2002 and by 2012 the script work was done. We started the movie in February 2013 and on September 4th 2014, the shooting of Rudhramadevi has come to end. The post-production works have already begun and would take at least three months time to bring the best product.”

“The film is made on grand scale and proudly we announce Rudhramadevi is India's first historical stereoscopic 3D film. It will be a visual feast and the action episodes are major highlight in this film. I would like to thank all the artists, technicians, workers who have worked so hard and gave their best to this film. We are planning to release the film in December and theatre owners across the state are approaching me regarding the screening of the film. They are willing to take necessary steps to screen a 3D film in their theatre,” added Gunasekhar.

Rudhramadevi has Anushka playing the title role while Rana, Allu Arjun, Nitya Menon, Suman, Krishnam Raju and Prakash Raj will be seen in vital roles.

Budding Actress Kills Her Husband

Tamil budding actress Shruti Chandralekha was detained by the police for her involvement in the murder related to her husband. Shruti revealed to the police in the investigation that she killed her husband Ronald Peter Prinzo for forcing to act in porn movies. Five others were also held who helped Shruti in this murder.

Frustrated by Prinzo's action, Shruti along with Umachandran and his aide killed him on January 18th and buried the body in Palayamkottai in Tirunelveli district. Later on February 1st, to diver the attention of police, Shruti complained claiming her husband is missing. The police without wasting much time launched investigation and chased in the case in eight months time. Prinzo's brother Justin asked Umachandran's aide about his disappearance and when there was no proper reply, Justin approached the police. From here, the police found a break through in the case.

"Under pressure to repay the money incurred due to heavy losses in business, Prinzo decided to make porn movies and relentlessly pressured Chandralekha to act in them. She said Prinzo wanted her to take part in group sex for the porn films but she refused," an investigating officer said.

Hansal Mehta, the man who directed Tollywood actress Shwetha Basu Prasad in 'Makdee' for which she also won national award, said that he would consider a role for her in his upcoming movie. Hansal posted in his Twitter account that Shwetha was good and urged the media to stopping posting her pictures and reveal the details of business tycoons who were caught in the sting operation.

“Stop posting pictures of Shweta. Put out the pictures of her wealthy clients and the pimp. Expose the scumbags not the soft target. I intend to offer Shweta Prasad a role in my next film. She was so good in Makdee,” wrote Mehta in his Twitter page.

Shahid's Haider Cleared With 41 Cuts

Shahid Kapoor's 'Haider' has been cleared with censor and guess what, the Central Board of Film Certification suggested 41 cuts for the film and awarded 'U/A' certificate to it. Visuals of a burning body, corpses piled into a truck, Haider walking among corpses, a wire inserted into a naked man, a close-up shot of an appendix surgery and a stone-pelting incident scenes were chopped from the film.

The Censor officials have watched Haider movie twice, once well before two months and second time recently. However, the makers of Haider redited the film after censor and so the censor board had to ask for another view. But according to the rule book of CBFC, the examining committee cannot view the film  after the cuts have been introduced and revising committee was not approached.

Whatever, it is Haider got a Censor clearance and is getting ready for release.

Bunny Trivikram Film To Sets

Allu Arjun's next with director Trivikram Srinivas had a formal launch quite long back but till date, the film did not go to the sets due to various reasons. In this meantime, Allu Arjun completed shooting for his cameo role in Gunasekhar's magnum opus 'Rudhramadevi' and a short film as a tribute to Independence Day. As his prior commitments finished, Bunny is awaiting for Trivikram who is busy with the script.

Seems like Trivikram is done with the script and finalised the first schedule of shooting. As per the sources, the film's shooting will begin on September 22nd  in Hyderabad and all the cast will take part in the filming. Samantha, Pranitha are confirmed for two out of three heroine roles while the search for third female lead is still one. Kannada superstar Upendra is also expected to be part of the movie but there has been no official confirmation yet.

Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music for this film.
