It is hardly a week that Ram Gopal Varma's Ice Cream movie got released and the maverick maker has unveiled the first look of the second part.  Ice Cream film met with very bad reviews and RGV went on a fight with few reviewers who criticised the movie. Many reviewers claimed that Ice Cream movie had an abrupt ending and as usual not bothered about the critics, RGV announced the second part of Ice Cream.

Like the first part, Ice Cream 2 will have more skin show of the female lead and first look is evident for this. The shooting of the film is already in progress and it is not clear whether the same lead actors will be seen in this second part. RGV also made official of release date in the first look and Ice Cream 2 will be hitting screens in September.

This has never been experienced before. It comes as a pleasant surprise that a Telugu film is right up there in the league of Hollywood and Bollywood films. Call it Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's magnetic pull or the issues that built up immense anticipation for Attarintiki Daredi, but people across the globe are visiting the theaters in huge numbers, making big production houses track the movie's BO progress.

Not just Bollywood film makers, even Hollywood companies are keeping an eye on the film's revenues. After the opening weekend, AD is among the biggest releases this year with Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express and Ranbir Kapoor's Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Pawan Kalyan even managed to overtake CE in certain areas.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma posted a few interesting tweets to keep us informed. Bollywood film trade analyst Taran Adarsh suggested that the US weekend figures of Attarintiki Daredi will shock all. “Top 3 openers in USA in 2013: ChennaiExpress$2.22 million, YJHD $ 1.56 million, #AttarintikiDaredi $ 1.52 mn/$ 1.74 million,” he reported.

RGV earlier joked, “I am told that because of the enormous collections American distributors and theater owners are learning to pronounce Attarintiki Daredi right.” Humor aside, there is good news for Pawan Kalyan fans. To thank for the stupendous response for AD, Pawan Kalyan is planning to address the media and viewers in a press meet this Sunday.

The planned press meet will be covered in real time and the team of Attarintiki Daredi, including Trivikram, will attend the gathering. Powerstar will reportedly thank the audience for making AD a memorable success and also acknowledge the help extended to curb piracy. Three cheers for Pawan Kalyan!

Balakrishna and Ram Gopal Varma are poles apart. One is a diplomatic politician who only uses punch dialogues in his films. The other unleashes punch dialogues as and when the thought is formed in his head. This month, both of them are giving away their daughters' hand in marriage.

The actor and director have both sent out wedding invitations, again poles apart. One might ask, how different can a wedding invitation be? Well, RGV will always have a crazy idea up his sleeve. Balayya's invitation looks like this, traditional and predictable. It announces the wedding date as 21st August in Novotel.

Ram Gopal Varma's invitation to his fans is a clear extension of his fiery personality. Those receiving an invitation would be amused to know that RGV agrees that he finally has to go through with it. He reportedly said that even he couldn't escape this and that his daughter is getting married on 15th at 8.45 pm.

He went on to say that guests can come if they feel like it, not to bless the couple, but to check out how he would look like a joker. A non-believer in the institution of marriage, RGV has surprised everyone by agreeing to comply with all the rituals that make up a Hindu wedding.

Balakrishna's second daughter Tejaswini will tie the knot with grandson of GITAM university founder and former TDP MP, MVVS Murthy. RGV's daughter Revathi will marry a doctor, Pranav.

Ramgopal Varma, who gave a prominent role to Jiah in 'Nishabd' to play a role of an infatuated young girl trying to seduce Amitabh Bachachan who was her friend's father, says that she acted very well with the veteran actor Amitabh. But she off late has been complaining, RG says, that she is considered by her near and dear as a failure in her profession.

Many from the Hindi Cine field expressed their shock on hearing the news of jiah's suicide and said that it is very early age for her to leave. RG also expressed his grief for her loss to the Cinema. No suicide note was found in her apartment. Police still could not come to a conclusion so far, as to the circumstances that led her to take an extreme step such suicide.
