This Choice Was Easy For Shruti Hassan

As one of the most sought after actresses in the film industry, Shruti Hassan has many offers to choose from. Choosing to give more impact in a small role, she expressed that her role in Ramayya Vasthavayya is well written and may not come again.

Once the film released, it became clear that Shruti was the main lead despite Samantha being portrayed as the romantic lead opposite Jr NTR. Though Sam teased and tickled the viewers with her charms, surprisingly, Shruti has been getting more positive responses for her performance in the so-called special appearance.

This is no short role, as the screen time may be lesser than the Samantha’s, but the impact it created was much bigger. “I don’t bother about the length of Ammulu role in Ramayya Vasthavayya and will prefer challenging roles,” Shruti said.

True to her wish, the role allowed her to spread her wings and show her acting skills. “Why I accepted the special role will become clear once you watch the film,” she clarifies. For those who haven’t watched the film, the entire plot of Ramayya Vasthavayya revolves around how Jr NTR tries to avenge the death of his lover Ammulu.

Mahesh's 1 Nenokkadine team is keeping it's mystery plot under wraps. The film is releasing on 10th January next year and fighting for space over the same timing is Allu Arjun's Race Gurram. Allu Arjun is coming with his funny family entertainer on 14th January.

Both movies have their own uniqueness. Audiences will be spoilt for choice when the movies release in time for the Sankranthi festivities. While Mahesh will keep our minds engrossed with a thriller, Allu Arjun will make us laugh out loud with a clean entertainer. Since the competition is obvious, makers of both films are extra vigilant about getting the scenes right.

While Race Gurram team will resume shooting on the 5th of this month to shoot from important scenes, Nenokkadine team is in Bangkok, also shooting important fight sequences. Kriti Sanon is said to be a perfect pairing with Mahesh and Shruti Hassan is also heard to share great chemistry with Allu Arjun.

Hard to pick right? No worries, there is a three day gap between the releases of Mahesh's 1 Nenokkadine and  Allu Arjun's Race Gurram. Promotions aside, word of mouth plays a huge role in setting the ball rolling. Everyone hopes the content, music and look of both films come out extremely well.

At a press meet yesterday, producer Dil Raju expressed that the film's look has been appreciated a lot. “Our SVC banner has some values, which will be apparent in this movie too” he said. Colorful and melodious, that's what we think of when RV comes to mind.

Giving competition to his very own film, Jr NTR has outdone all his previous looks. Dil Raju also agrees that he showed NTR differently in Brindavanam, and the movie did bring positive vibes towards the actor's looks. Again in Ramayya Vasthavayya, Dil Raju has reinvented NTR's glamor. Going by the posters and trailer, young tiger looks very promising indeed.

So, Ramayya Vasthavayya has not just two glamorous talents, but three. Samantha and Shruti Hassan may be looking very pretty, but Jr NTR is gearing up to steal the show. This film will reach all expectations, says director Harish Shankar. “RV will become the biggest blockbuster in NTR's career,” he added. The film's post production is currently progressing and we can expect the cencor certification this week.

After the debacle of Iddarammatilatho, Allu Arjun wanted only bound scripts, but the present scenario is not helping him stick to his decision.
