Fate Of The Films Released This Week

Fate Of The Films Released This Week | Something Something Movie Review | Saradaga Ammaitho Review

Fate Of The Films Released This Week

Producers of the films released today are worried about the rains that may keep the audience from going to the theater.  Secondly, as summer vacations are over and schools are reopened and parents are busy in school admissions and purchase of books and other things related to the education of their siblings.

In addition to the above, Chalo Assembly tension is also discouraging audience to venture out in Hyderabad.

Although the low budget simple films with different subjects are attracting the audience more in the recent times, it is feared that the season's shift may cause a crash at box office.  Something Something Movie Review | Saradaga Ammaitho Review

That is the reason why the first week of the academic year is avoided usually.  Next week and other weeks that follow will be OK compared to this week.

But one can't predict the fate of a cinema.  We only have to wait and see the results.

Gunde Jaaari Gets The Best Of Box Office

Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe

Gunde Jaaari... gets the best of box office!

For good box office collections, the movie should have a big budget, big actors or extremely good plot and/or songs. However, every now and then there are some movie that beat these norms and get out with more than decent profits, totally out of the blue. More than what is in the movie, factors that are unrelated to the movie specifically act in its favor boosting the box office collections and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe is the prime example of such collections.

That doesn't mean GJG has a bad plot, poor budget and all but merely that this is a movie in the average lines but still it continues to be the leader at the box office. Several new movies like Sukumarudu, and big flicks like Tadakha have released but the administrations at the theaters have replaced the new movies back with GJG. Evey penny of the box office has been going to GJG with new movies faring little to nothing.

Greeku Veerudu, Sukumarudu and Tadakha being poor or average films at best is boosting the fame of GJG. It is now so popular that makers of Iddaramayilatho have decided to move their release a little further away from the “hay days” of GJG.
