Priyanka Chopra's Bollywood career is going quite strong and with Mary Kom, she proved that she is most hatke actress. However, PeeCee's personal life has many ups and downs. Things did not materialise with Harman Baweja and Shahid Kapoor and Bollywood gossipers say that she is single now.

Breaking the silence, recently in an interview Priyankar sad that she in never single. "Everybody keeps saying I'm single. I've never ever said that. I think you're single till you get married, so in that sense, yes, I am,” added Mary Kom star.. Read more ...

Priyankas Mary Kom Hits The Screens

Priyanka Chopra's Mary Kom movie has hit the theatres in a grand scale world wide. The movie is a sports biopic based on the life of boxing Olympic champion, M C Mary Kom. Priyanka Chopra has gone completely de-glam for the role, undergoing rigorous physical training and pinned high hopes onto this big release.

Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, debutante Omung Kumar directed Mary Kom. However the film will not release in Manipur because Bollywood films are banned in the state. Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Assam states have announced entertainment tax exemption for the movie.

No To Direction Or Production

After a successful 2013, Deepika Padukone is all set to ablaze the box office with 'Finding Fanny' this year and promotions of the film are going good. Deepika who a while back said that she wants turn as assistant direct as she is fascinated by every department of film-making, said she has no plans to step into production or direction.

“I have no stories to tell. Also, I don’t have any plans to start my own production house,” told Deepika to the media when asked about her future plans into other departments of filmmaking.  On the other hand, her competitors like Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma have ventured into production, Queen actress Kangana is trying her hands in direction.

A good news to fans and we can see Deepika more in the silverscreen.

Wait, isn't publicity good? Well, Priyanka Chopra means that, as top heroine, her name is being dragged into other projects that she has not been approached for. She lashed out saying that there is news everywhere that she is part of every film and then being replaced. The media has also been portraying the news as if she is losing something, she says.

According to the actress, her name is used for false publicity. Meanwhile, Charan has something to say.  “Edainaa cheppi cheyyadam naa style,” he says in Toofan. Charan also warns, “Over confidence penchukuntey, peeki chethilo pedathaa.”

Priyanka Chopra-starrer Barfi may have won honor at almost all the film awards, but it failed to acquire any appreciation at the national awards,leaving the actress with disappointment.

Priyanka expresses that she feels bad that Barfi did not win a national award even though it is up to the jury why they did not give the award, during the launch of her first item song 'Babli Badmaash'.

Undoubtedly, Anurag Basu's Barfi was a love story in which Ranbir Kapoor played the role of a deaf and mute person, while Priyanka played an austistic girl's role.

Whatever it may be, Priyanka said that she is happy that her cousin actress Parineeti Chopra, who won a special mention at the National Awards today for her role in Ishaqzaadez while she expresses that she is happy for her.

Fact-fully, now in the Chopra family, there are two national awards and that the whole day she had to explain what special mention means!

Extremely talented Priyanka had won a national award for Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion.
