Director Shankar's 'Ai' [Manoharudu in Telugu] movie is gearing up for audio release on September 15th and the makers are making heavy preparations as Hollywood star actor Arnold will grace the event as chief guest. While the audio release program is around, the makers are also busy with the Telugu distribution rights.

Since a week, the Telugu rights are kept under hold as the makers of Ai movie are expecting a huge amount. According to the sources the makers are quoting not less than Rupees 35 crores for the Telugu rights but many producers are not keen to put such huge amount. The noted production house PVP Cinema is willing to buy the Telugu rights but is in a wait and watch mode, looking for the producers of Ai movie to come down a bit.

Recently the Tamil satellite rights of Ai are were sold out for Rs 22 crores, this led the makers to quote such a whopping amount for the Telugu rights. Ai movie is made with a budget of whopping Rs 185 crores and so the makers are making sure they gather the maximum revenue well before release. This is a good tactic and it will be more advantage, if the film scores a super hit at box office.

South India's most successful director Shankar has been disappointing his fans with delay in his next project 'Ai' which has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. But now, we have a good news as the makers of this film have confirmed the audio release and threatrical release dates. As per the latest reports, 'Ai' will have its audio release on September 15th and movie will light the screens on October 22nd which marks the eve of Diwali.

Also, for the audio launch, Hollywood star actors Jackie Chan and Arnold Schwarnegger will the grace the event as chief guest and Chennai is venue. 'Ai' will release in Telugu as 'Manoharudu' and will release in Telugu version as per the above dates. Oscar winner AR Rahman has rendered music for Ai and will perform at the film's audio release too.

The makers of Ai are planning to release the movie 20,000 theatres across the globe as it is made with a budget of Rupees 150 crores which is the highest budget film till date. As it is being the second combination of Shankar and Vikram, expectations are quite high and hope to repeat the magic of Anniyan [Aparichitudu].

Aamir as Baddie in Robot 2 ?

In what a sensational news, Aamir Khan is heard to be approached to play the baddie role in Rajinikanth's Robot 2 which is rumoured to be in the pipeline of director Shankar.  Sources have said, the preliminary talks are on to sign Aamir but the star hero wasn't approached.

We have earlier reported too that Shankar was considering to make the sequel of this 2010 blockbuster but as both are busy with present commitments, not even a single step moved ahead. If the sources are true, then it will be Shankar's second attempt to work with Mr. Perfectionist.

Earlier, Shankar contacted Aamir with Robot subject which was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan. However, Aamir too declined the film and later it went to Superstar Rajinikanth.

Probably Aamir's baddie role in Dhoom 3 attracted Shankar more and so he approached with the antagonist role.  Will Aamir say yes then it would be feast for fans.

 We all have our favorite celebrities and one most favorite look on that individual. Though we welcome experimentation, think about what happens when that person changes so much that she/he becomes unrecognizable. Rajinikanth has wowed us with Kochadaiyan posters, but there are other real stories.

Usually, news of an actor or actress getting fitter is received with much happiness, as it means more eye candy. That is the case with Anushka, who is reportedly looking too hot to handle on the sets of Bahubali. She had toned down and is looking cuter than ever after drawing flak for putting on weight. Now, she is ready to sizzle.



However, when an actor like Vikram loses so much weight that he looks like a sculpture, we do a double take. He has transformed during the shooting of Manoharudu over the past few months. His many looks for the film are said to be the highlight of Shankar's next.



Then we have Tollywood's own sunshine Ram. The energetic actor regularly tweets to fans and keeps them updated with his golmaal. Most recently, he unveiled his mustache-less look for Masala with Ventakesh. Now, he is trying to show us what he looks like if he has blond hair. We likes his clean shaven look. But, the blond look is just not him.



Nagarjuna, as we have seen over the years, loves to experiment. He acted in mass driven, romantic as well as devotional film. Still, he managed to gain a lot of appreciation for his effort. Fans would, any day, vouch for his Manmadhudu look. But, he still bombards us with totally hairy looks every now and then. Think Super and Bhai.

One of the most inspirational transformation was comedian Sunil. His weight loss and subsequent success in lead roles is something like an ugly duckling to swan transformation. Hats off to Sunil for his dedication. His is a story that will remain an inspiration for generations of comedians who made it big.

Someone who did not have to work hard at getting lead roles, but still had to slog it out was Jr NTR. His look then and now are so different that it is amazing to have imagined that he could look like this. Many say, his look in Ramayya Vasthavayya is his career best.

There are more such stories of transformation, but these are easily the most noticeable.
