Tamannah sidelined

Tamannah-this name became the most happening one in Tollywood after the dubbed movie Awara hit the theatres. The sensuous actress, who has good acting and dancing skills rose to heights in Tollywood in no time. Back to back movies of Tamannah came in no time and she enjoyed the show to the core. But two movies and tough competition-in terms of performance and body laguage-from Samantha pushed this glamorous woman to a corner.

At one point of time Tamannah was a kind of lucky mascot but back to back flops apparently dimmed her image. In fact, she received biggest jolts to her career with Badrinath and Rebel movie as both the movies bombed at the box office. In fact, it was told that producers of Rebel brought in Tamannah in the last minute since Anushka (who was the actual heroine of the movie) resigned from the project. Therefore, Tamannah reportedly charged three crore rupees instead of her regular 80 lakh rupees. Even after apparently forking out so much of money, Tamannah didn't prove beneficial to the producers.

On the otherhand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is at the peak of the career. While there's nothing new to speak about her outstanding performance, there's not even a single movie of hers that bombed at the box office. Her Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu too received good response from the public despite the slow narration of the movie. Hence, many producers are now showing more interest in booking Samantha when compared to Tamannah. Let us hope that this gorgeous actress comes to spot light again with some back to back hits.
