Tigers vs Telugu Warriors, the 4th match of Celebrity Cricket League
2013 was played on Sunday (Feb 10) at Kanchanjungwa Krirangan, Siliguri.
The Telugu Warriors Dominate Bengal Tigers counterparts in all the
departments. Bengal which bated first could just make 68 runs in the
stipulated twenty overs after losing all the wickets.
Telugu
Warriors led by 'Victory' Venkatesh sped past the target in 10.1 overs
after losing one wicket. Opener Adithya garnered laurels with his
stupendous knock of 55 runs in just 38 balls. Single-handedly he
diminished the Bengal bowling attack, to claim the Man of the Match
award. The only successful bowler for the Bengal Tigers was Saugata who
managed to get the rival captain's wicket.
In an yet
another match in the Veer Marathi played against the Karnataka
Bulldozers at the same venue earlier. Karnataka won the match and
claimed two points.
Telugu
Warriors would play against the Mumbai Heroes at Hyderabad next Sunday
(Feb 17). Cricket and Cinema are two passions of this nation. Both
coming together increases the anxiety of fans and the stadiums are ever
crowded. Even the television sponsorship increases, equaling the actual
