Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe
For
good box office collections, the movie should have a big budget, big
actors or extremely good plot and/or songs. However, every now and then
there are some movie that beat these norms and get out with more than
decent profits, totally out of the blue. More than what is in the movie,
factors that are unrelated to the movie specifically act in its favor
boosting the box office collections and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe is
the prime example of such collections.
That
doesn't mean GJG has a bad plot, poor budget and all but merely that
this is a movie in the average lines but still it continues to be the
leader at the box office. Several
new movies like Sukumarudu, and big flicks like Tadakha have released
but the administrations at the theaters have replaced the new movies
back with GJG. Evey penny of the box office has been going to GJG with new movies faring little to nothing.
Greeku
Veerudu, Sukumarudu and Tadakha being poor or average films at best is
boosting the fame of GJG. It is now so popular that makers of
Iddaramayilatho have decided to move their release a little further away from the “hay days” of GJG.
