On Puris Shoulders
Nagababu
kept a responsibility on the successful film director Puri Jagannadh's shoulders. The way Puri worked for launching Ramcharan Tej with
Chirutha, Nagababu's son Varun Tej’s launching also asked to be taken
up.
It is not
an easy task to launch a hero that too from mega family that earned a
lot of good will in the film industry that cannot be staked. If the
hero has already made an image of his own, it is easy to make a script.
But if the movie is to introduce new actor as a hero, the burden lies
heavy on the director. As per the present trend in the films, only a
rough and tough looking hero who can handle fights and also dance
sequences with heroines rules the show business. A soft character in a
family drama may not suit a debuting hero.
That is
why Srikant Addala the first director came to the mind of Nagababu was
changed to Puri Jagannadh. Aswani Dutt will produce the film under the
banner of Vyjayanthi movies as a launching pad for Varun Tej.
Mega fans are looking forward with enthusiasm to welcome a new hero from mega family.
