Sonakshi Sinha who became popular with Dabang 1  and 2 in Hindi for her charm after she reduced her weight and became slim.  

Sonakshi was said to have selected to act with Mahesh Babu in the upcoming film 'Sivam' of Director Krish.  As per the schedules of Mahesh Babu, the film will take one year to take a shape.  But it is in the air that Gabbar Singh sequel is under consideration in which Sonakshi is asked to play the same role she played in Dabang 2.  It is also heard that she accepted the offer.  

Sonakshi may be a beauty on Hindi screen but doubts are being expressed in filmnagar about her charm whether it allures Telugu audience.  Telugu film lovers who could not accept Anushka with Mahesh Babu in Khaleja may not like to see Sonakshi with Mahesh.  Even in the case of pairing with Pawan Kalyan, it is doubtful to make her role acceptable by Telugus.  

Gabbar Singh was directed by Harish Shankar but its sequel Gabbar Singh 2 is being directed by Sampath Nandi who seems to have made the story ready.
